    coolant expansion tank position

Can anybody offer any theories as to why from being ontop of the thermostat housing up to 1998, volvo then moved the location of the expanison tank (side)breather hose onto the radiator in 1999?

And why did Volvo change the thermostat from being a £10 piece of cake to fit part, to being a £100 total ballache to fit part?

because they are dumb - it is scheduled as part of the cambelt service though i bet most independent garages who are not volvo specialist would miss it.
