Does anyone know where I can get a intercooler pipe with the IAT sensor housing built in? Needed for all intercooler upgrades.

i know they dont but try and price up all those part indervidualy and i bet it would be cheaper than that kit. i also hate shinney bits on a engine bay. just make it look wrong. the kit is only any good if you have a standard intercooler and your not going to feel any benifits. id spend a few extra quid and get the intercooler that tim helped design thats made to fit the standard set up. shinney pipes wont give you bhp. and now on on this forum is running enough boost in a phase two for bigger boost pipes to make a difference.

by the time you buy a cheap chinese front mount with poor flow and the shinney chod youll be in the same price range as a proven set up thats had a lot of research and development go into it. personly i wouldnt pay that much for either. most wont see the benifit of a fmic unless your into track days and the likes of that. much better way to get good gain and cheaper to

thats a very simples boss. if you have a spare sensor and want a short bit of pipe with that bose welding on let me know and i should be able to help you out. have a look in the modification section. theres some pics of how a tuner to the fmic setup

theres kits available in the us from the likes of phuzz and races60r wich are half the price.
i agree about the price with the pipe kit.
i wont be going down eith root tbh.
mine will be full custom from turbo - tb
theyr ar good ic's out there. think ill be heading towards forge maybe...

ive been msgin phil, the op. and looks like there was no need for the map flange/pipe
    as his aint there

i think yours will have the sensor being the newer 2.4. i agree the tw fmic is a lot but you get what you pay for. but it depends what you want it for. if you were building a 500 bhp forged engine with the best of parts you wouldnt go and buy a cheap fmic. but at same time the average joe bloggs wont spend that kind of money of performace parts. you can almost buy a gtx3071r turbo for that.

I got confused yesterday whilst at tg, scrap yard. Was there to get the air condenser off a 05 s60 thinking it was the 06 type but no it has the stupid gas bottle on the side. Anyhow I noticed the IAT on the intercooler and thought dam I never noticed that on mine bet I've not installed it so panicked all afternoon until I got home and checked my car to find it sat on the throttle pipe as standard
