    Cool Ready for the weekend...

Well, the Sweed is gonna be a busy girl this weekend what with taking the lad and his rather well-off friend (and his mum) to Legoland, then Graham's BBQ on saturday AND the softies meet on sunday so I took the opportunity to give her a good going over today (I'm on nights tonight so I had the day to play)

After the machine polishing session I had a while ago, all she needed was a wash, wax and some finer detailing on the trims, wheels and engine bay.

    Came up nicely...

    New bling settling in nicely

These pics were taken on my new phone, not bad although the colour is a little saturated but I can fix that in the settings at some point.
19t, greens, 3" inlet, 3" downpipe with race cat, V70R catback, autotech map...

That's nice, I'll working tonight, then be off to Sheffield tomorrow pm and then coming back potentially directly to Graham's Sat. Then the Softies on Sunday. I don't think the V40 is going to see a sponge anytime soon.

I might have to get the Local immigrants to wash it on the way Sat..

Looking good there, that car has come on leaps and bounds and is a good example of what I was talking about in my resto thread

Gutted I'm not about this weekend as I'd have been at this meet, definitely will make one some day though

    Thanks guys.
I met up with a mate earlier and his rather nicely modded RX8. Veilside body kit and some interesting engine mods mean this thing's a hoot in the wet

    Nice.
A couple of friends have had these, one of them went off the road backwards in the wet and wrote it off..the other had to put a new engine in not long after buying it (easy job actually) but then had to sell it for something larger more practical.

Both of them loved their RX8s, I drove them both they were like a motorbike..loved to rev and sounded amazing (both had howling exhausts)...drove nice, not a million miles off the Toyota GT86 imho.

    Great fun.
