    Fault codes...

    Afternoon all,

Managed to get some 'software' to read the detail DTCs on my VP2 V70 T5
I have an intermittent DSTC service required message but no known faults.
below is a screenshot of the codes that were picked up.

I take it i need a new boost pressure sensor, Air Quality Sensor, and possibly a new/repaired ABS ECU?

    Thanks

id say that you have one faulty sensor and not all three. im sure some one will come along with a better answer soon

Looking at that list the only one that matters is the last one.
Click on the last one and it will run thought a self test if it can see it in the system then I would guess the wires are ok.
It will show where the sensor is in the car just have a look to see that it's not just fell off the bracket.
If not then its off to volvo parts department.

Yeah did that, came up with an option to recalibrate. Risked it and did it, no fault message since. bonus (touch wood)

Because they are all Red alerts, they are all in need of doing, pronto. Apart from the top one that is.

The DSTC fault would be caused by the side accelerometer not the other two.
As you say the boost sensor is saying low but by how much needs looking into could be a leaking pipe or hose.

Anyone know where this side accelerometer is? Is it internal to the abs ecu? Hopefully it will be clear when mot at end of the month.

VIDA will tell you the location and also give you a little schematic so you know what it looks like. Not sure it would be an MOT failure, although stuff seems to be added to the test all the time, so it might be now....
