Thanks Ian, the lights look ok till main beam is on, then the colours don't match, so I ordered another set for the mains. Not getting to much pressure to shift the shell, so I can take a bit of time and hopefully use or sell as much as possible

Little stumped at present as I can't work out which cambelt kit to get for the T-5R, as it appears to be on a change over period, both kits dates appear to cover the build/reg date of my car,I couldn't make head nor tail of the engine no. plate, I could just rip the engine out and count the teeth, but I wanted to get everything here ready and have one big session sorting her out for this coming seasons fun, any light on this would be welcomed, thanks Adrian

do you have a contact no. for them mate ?? I tried messaging Rufe but got no reply so was looking for an alternative supplier, if I can fit a volvo one at a decent price then I will, but got to keep some pennies back for a new fuel pump, as I don't believe the one I pinched out of the 2.0litre is really up the the job and worry that it's not fueling fully at wot, so a bit to do this week.

Slow progress I know, but she's in the workshop and dis-assembly is under way

Whilst under the car I found this little unit, only had the car nearly 7 years and not noticed it before, what is it ? a vacuum pump or something similar ? should there be pipes to all ports ? and could this lack of piping cause my lacking boost ?

Looks like I'll have to copy Oblark and knock up some nice brass bushes for the linkages, as I had to get a tad heavy handed with the one linkage

and the others are queuing for attention ... lol

Isn't that the evap purge canister?

And what's with the MG up in the rafters? I've heard of shelving a project but that's taking it a bit far lol.

The evap purge canister is down by the front pulley, I found that, not that it will be there much longer and you'd be surprised a what spares we keep on the shelf here mate....lol

Its for your cruise control, and yes, one port should be open, it confused me when I saw it.

Only reason I know this, because I moved my as it was in the way of the lower intercooler pipe!

thanks Paul, that explains why there wasn't one on the 2.0l v70 as it doesn't have cruise control
