Well what a fantastic weekend we had with Colin,James and the Flipped Out Customs crowd, had to do a bit of cleaning as the weather and being parked outside work had made a right mess of the car, so saturday morning I whizzed over the car with the quick detailer, so it was at least clean, then stupidly I tried a little Meg's ultimate compound on the rear wing..... oh crap.....the rest of the car now looks bad, so then had to finish what I started. Popped to the local town to get supplies for later and on return decided to try my new tube of Meg's dark wax, so set about the bonnet, to comments that I'm starting to take after Wobbley (it will never be that clean .. lol). The bonnet looked ok when Jayne then said " why not try a some on the rear quarter, so off we go and wow, how good does that look, now I have to do the rest to the same standard......think it was worth it

    A few more mods

Now back into the garage for the rest of the current plan mods that time didn't allow to happen.

Here a few shots whilst do the last mods and some of the horrors found along the way

The home made top rip pipe converted out of a s60 top pipe just cut the elbow out and re-jointed the pipe

Work in progress ( and a little thieving of the V70 R as it had new plugs and an oil line banjo)

the bits coming off seemed to just keep getting more

A bit bare, but more to change yet

Cracked waste gate ( oh well it will have to last till planned turbo change as I think the 15g has a little more to give yet

Turbo recirc looked a little knackered so time for the blanking plate I had off graemewelch when he'd just made a batch ( thanks mate took a while but its in now )

and finally a big thank you to Ian for passing on some unused air filters and thought James spotting that I don't have one on my car, bought it down to Retro Rides so the car would sound even better going up the hill ( if you could here it over the tyre squeal..lol)

Your welcome mate.... I must say that Megs brought your car up a treat Adrian, it looks amazing in the photos and your engine bay is looking 'meaner' everytime you put new pics up

Wow, looks fantastic in that first picture Adrian, it seems you have been a busy man. It will nice to see it in its full glory when you've finished. I remember the condition the car was in when you first bought it and it hasnt half been turned around.

    Good job mate!

Wow that's some crack it's a wonder your getting any real boost levels with the housing cracked to that extent. Clearly a good turbo elsewhere..
Car is looking very well indeed, I remember seeing it a couple of years back at Avon and it looks like an entirely different car now! Job very well done, looking forward to reading your updates as they come through, if you don't mind me saying your car is a testimony to Volvo build quality and even when they look like they need a good clean and polish that really is, within reason, all they need to look spot on again and worth saving

Yes, in 2011 I learnt about detailer, just thought you were being lazy...lol To be fair the day a Meg's that Shepbomb organised last year was an eye opener in easy car care, hence the results and I ain't no WD

Thanks Andy, it will be interesting to see just what we can get out of her, when we return to Avon in September, the car seem to be perform real nice at Prescott with the new manifold and mods. The latest pic's at the hill climb just strenghten me,in my love for my high miler, yet she still has more in her to be unleashed.
