    Update time, where has the year gone already....

    VT600 has been and gone, luckily I didn't take olive as it tbh, as it turned out to be a real shambles imho (ok on the upside, it did make a load of money for charity, but that's about all) and in all honesty, the clutch would have most probably have killed my leg before the end of the day, as most that have tried it can tell you...its Very Heavy...lol

    Moving forward we have a trip to Santa Pod coming up on the weekend of the 28th of September, so it's time to brush off the cobwebs and try to up the power once more, as I need to push the boundaries a tad further and beat my personal best of 13.4, so looking to mapping improvements and weight loss to help here. Possibly some new rubber to make as much use of there sticky track as I can as the slicks I used last time (lent to me by Mr Tim Williams, A big thank you sir) did little extra than to level the playing field between us on reflection, but I can complain as we ran steady 13.6's for most of the day. So time to pull the finger out and get going, turbo will be staying as 15g for this meet and hopefully it will yet again surprise a few on how rapid it is!! I can't wait to get back behind the wheel of olive, as she has been parked up for almost a year now and I really miss her, Gul is a lovely car, don't get me wrong, but there is nothing nearly as fun as olive to be hooning about in.

    Still parked up..........but now on greens and 3" maf, which according to the afr look to have settled in well, but only a bit of datalogging will really tell, possibility of a bit of hillclimbing on the horizon if the reg's allow it to run, but enough of a buzz to get going again on pushing her forward and possibly going for an mot to get some road testing done at last.

    Just read the whole thread. Have to it's amazing too see the work that has gone into it.

    I am surprised that your still running a 15g? Also not gone to a COP conversion?

    But what a build 😍. Love it

    Well thanks for that, glad you liked the thread......to be honest the rest of them have been saying for a long time to run a bigger turbo, I just wanted to see what I can squeeze out of it before going bigger, I think a could possibly get a 12 second run out of her with some datalogging and the right map, she now sports a 3" maf and green injectors, so has the scope for a few more ponies.

    I'm still running the 15g myself and I'm more tempted to go to a 18g turbo

    A 19t would be my next move turbo wise I think, yet it would most likely be a modified 15g with a 19t wheel and turbine housing, it would be interesting what it would map up to on a dyno as the 15g manage 301bhp and a massive 521nm of torque, so I'd be hoping for at least 350bhp minimum or it's back to the drawing board. One question about the thread, as a new comer could you see all the pictures, as many of them are hosted by photobucket and they stopped the third party hosting at one point (there was a work around at one point), somebody mentioned recently that they where able to see the pictures again and was wondering what you found as you went back through my thread....???

    Small update......I though it was time to upgrade Olives fuel pump, though a has been changed once but it will still will be 20+ years old I'm guessing, so I've gone big so as to future proof the build project for bigger injectors and turbo's

    DW300 should see me through future upgrades and should be an easy fit to a spare fuel pump cradle I have lying about and will be ready to just drop in when time allows. Not something I originally planned on installing, but due to a mad sponsor (lol....my lad) I came by a blitz dual boost controller and I am considering fitting it to test if there is any benefit to it, can't currently see how it will help as it doesn't sense rpm, but I think I can see a way to make it work for me on the strip, still not convinced it will, but you don't learn if you don't try...!!...lol

    i have the Blitz duel id hd on mine and its far better than the standard ecu control, not sure about yours but mine has 4 presets you can set up, dead easy to install and setup too, i also found boost to be far more stable as well.

    The manual is a bit rubbish on how to setup/use, but I guess I'll just push buttons and work it out as normal, scramble mode looks interesting...?
