Yep - 4 self tapping screws and some White mastic. Job done. (I've got one on mine)

Ok, so I goes down to breakers yard & buy the roof spoiler for bargain £10 (volvo part)
Came off a shiny black car but a bit scratched, after a bit of stopping putty & 1200 wet n dry looking better.
Sprayed it with grey primer looking really good now, when offering it up to my rear door I realised the factory brackets to door hinges were not suitable.

I know MRP said 4 self tappers would work but they would have to be pretty meaty to grip the plastic, the factory spoiler uses double sided adhesive pads (where do you get those from? )
Also the phase 1 spoiler will only follow the curve of phase 2 door in 1 position, is the spoiler then at the correct angle for optimum airflow, I'm sorry to sound negative but at errm higher velocities theres alot of force on the spoiler, I don't want it flying off lol

The purpose of Volvo spoilers is to direct airflow over the rear glass, helping to clear water faster. It's not for downforce.

And yes, they stick up a bit

You'll see the mounting points where the P2 spoiler goes, inside the boot lid. Drill through there and run 2 x 30mm x 6mm self tappers through it on both sides. Seat it with mastic and mastic the gaps too.

I can take a few close-up pics if you need them.
