    best pads to get

I need to sort my brakes out and I am thinking of getting brembo 305 max discs but there seems to be a few good pads to get like ebc yellow stuff or black diamond pads ,also there is ferodo ds2500 and police spec pads any input would be good cheers.

I had Brembo 305 with plod pads and they were dusty as hell and the pads outlasted the disks by quite a bit.

    Stopped well though.

I was going to spend big bucks on a big brake kit but from what I have been reading there seems to be no point so am looking at the best 305 set up I can buy also my car is an auto so they need to be good as my car is getting faster all the time with mods they feels crap, when I got this car from the police the brakes where amazing but I sent her to an indy garage and they put crap discs and pads on and the discs look small compared to how they where .

You can't fit the 305 kit to a P1 mate.

302 with good quality disks and pads will be the best you can get without spending big bucks on something like willwood or AP Racing kits.

There's the option of custom fitting brembo 4-pots from a megane 225 with 320 disks but they won't fit under 16" wheels.

^^^what he said, 302 mm brakes fit the 16" alloys, 320 mm discs need 17" wheels. See page 61 of the brochure below...
