    ive been beaten to it, i was gonna suggest black with a bit of gold pearl/mica in it, and if you chuck a touch of copper pearl/mica in it should send it a little more orange rather than yellow.

    i did see a really nice grey on a mk1 v40 this morning. it looked like a light gun metal grey.

    Well.... They were finally done today, some of you will like and some not! Platinum Silver.... The car will be ready on Friday, it's been 3 weeks and I now have severe withdrawl symptoms






    We shall see what they look like on the car as the light is quite bright in the paint shop.

    I personally like silver wheels and think they will look good, I'm sure some people will point out the black mirrors/lights on your car and maybe say you should have gone darker.

    At the end of the day, if your happy thats all that matters mate.

    Looking forward to seeing the car at TRAX.

    Good quality paint job there Ian. I'm still not sure about the colour, I'll have to see them on the car but the main thing is that you're happy with them.

    looks like a cracking job. good to see the broke the seal on tyres and done them properly and not just the face of wheel
    s60 2.4 t5 eibach springs,up rated rear anti roll bar, poly bushed wishbones, poly lower engine mount, fmic, bmc air filter, 3" decat, 2.5" stainless exhaust,hlm remap 328bhp,

    I would like to thank you all for your help and advice in this thread, I know I haven't always listened to you all but it has been taken on board! (watch with the 18's)

    Thanks to all of you whom took the trouble to take photo's it meant a lot... I can Honestly say I haven't enjoyed the experience there is just too much choice and it's never easy when your trying something different.... This still Bugs me... I really liked Colins wheels....

    if you do find them to bright theres nothing to stop you getting a dark pearl put in some lacquer to give them a darker effect
