so the pads have been muppet'ed in the past.

well, those spring clips are quite strong on the xc90 ............

Yep. There's no way the pad can be removed without pulling the retaining spring as it locks through it.

As you can see, the old pad was forcing the retaining spring outward...



New pad fitted...

The annoying click has now gone which is brilliant but the best bit is, the Mintex pads are bloody amazing compared to the old ones. Loads of bite and a very precise feel.

It's made a hell of a difference, just need to sort the pads now and I'm larfin'. There's rumors that the pads from the 320 setup will fit. Is that the case and if so, are they any cheaper? (I doubt it but times is 'ard lol)

Same pads and calipers for 316, 320 and 336mm discs.
