    As you asked.

These two hold the end bits of trims on smaller one at the top.

This one is along the scuttle panel next to the rubber seal.

Just need to be careful when you push the pin in that it doesn't get lost.

A much cheaper trim solution is this Cherry Blossom Black shoe Restorer

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Cherry-Blo...item27f793ed65

its a bit laborious to put on as you need two coasts but it lasts for ages - I used it on my Korando and my Freelander with good results

Very tempted to get some C4 for my XC70 though

I used the C4 over 12 months ago and it still looks as good as the first day I put it on. I also use there tyre dresser and alloy wheel coating products.

I just looked at the shoe polish link you put up, lol, are people really sad enough to have sell secondhand shoe polish, " only used once " !!!!!!!!!

I can say the same here it still looks good to me (yes I know I don't have the car any more but I did swap over a number of parts from the S60 to the V70 like you do and this was one of them due to a windscreen fitter made a mess of it on the V70 )

Just ordered more C4, the product lasted almost 2 years! Very good stuff and really easy to use.
    Thanks

My Plasticare black has now lasted nearly 6 months, turned badly faded white/light grey bumpers back to original colour, although does require careful application as mentioned here.

Did you get any streaking with it? I've seen a few of these types of products badly applied. The C4 is very easy to use.
    Thanks

Another thumbs up for C4 here, great product.

I only used it on one car (MK3 Golf GTi) but boy did it do a good job!

The alloy wheel product is even better, I Did it the same time as the C4 and it was still beading up until last month when the garage messed up my alloys so they needed refurbished. I will be going to polished bliss to buy from the gyeon range these products look mad so want to give it a go on the paint and wheels this summer when it gets its detail.
    Thanks

The way to avoid streaking with Plasticare is to apply using a dabbing motion with a small piece of cut sponge, the instructions suggest this but are not very precise, also takes a couple of coats.

Not great pic but, before and after Plasticare (one coat plus a few days of rain) went on to apply second a couple of weeks later which has given a lasting even colour, but haven't got a picture:

Just used the C4 trim restorer at the weekend with some fantastic results, I have some further tests for it on my olive T-5R, but if the results are as good as the Guls front bumper I will be happy, as I prefer this to bumper die finishes I've seen done.
