Nice find, the headlight covers look good on the 850's if you ask me

Useful tip, if you go to your local B&Q's they sell the little stopper/buffer things for cupboard doors and they're direct replacement for standard

Indeed, I had a set on my old Orion and after a few years of cleaning I had knocked several off, a quick trip to B&Q's had that issue resolved, just as well too as they fetch best part of £50 - £100.00 2nd hand as they're no longer available....

One of the first things I ordered for the 850 when I got it was the headlight covers and I was told they were NLA and I managed to track a set of new old stock from Kings in Southampton.... I also modified them so they were branded like the Ford ones as the Volvo ones are plain and I always liked the badge on the Ford ones

Cheers Jim I have the space the tools but no time I really want to have it finished for may/June time but that all depends on the respray as im hoping to do it my self so need some warm weather, we've also got the old 240 to do as well but that's not too bad just two rear arches full new set of bushes and a engine swap until we rebuild the original one and re spray.

Lol ide love to I got all the way ready to start t5 engine swap for my dad to get all sentimental as say he wants the 240 to stay original and to restore it to its former glory which I suppose after 23yrs of owning it he's pretty attached but not that attached as it lives at mine.
Now if I could find a 740/940 16v it would be getting that engine fitted or ide have to buy another 240 only problem is theres only so many cars you can drive and I am itching to do something rwd once the gul is done.
Ide never get my money back from the t5 so I will see what I can do with it either way I still need the 16v head

16v redblock is quite a rare lump indeed... but I think it would look more at home under the bonnet of a 240 than the 5 pot. That said the growl of a 5 pot with rwd... Yummy

No, it's still silver and Cougar shaped, and has an interior that isn't mouldy.

Might have something to do with it....lol. Mine just lets a few drops in from somewhere around the sunroof, so I'll have to tackle that at some stage.
