not a custom mate just a standard remap, and the 19t is flipping wonderfull mate everytime I do something to the engine i.e rip kit...decat...new vacuum lines etc etc it just seems to get zippier and pull harder for longer lol I wasn't sure about the 19t at first but with supporting mods its the dogs danglys

yeah, i dit the 19t and decat together so made an awesome difference, I have notice some crankcase fumes now so i think i need to do my pcv, not sure if the 19t had anything to do with it as i never noticed it before, maybe extra boost could cause it?

butchered my 15g, got a straight exhaust housing(will go angled when i can afford the DP) full superback rebuild kit and 19t compressor wheel and housing, and put all the bits together.

are you using a 19t conversion wheel or did you get the core machined?

i was really disappointed with the lag from my 19t, until i fitted a 3" throttle body & 3" RIP

yeah got the core machined for the 58mm wheel. Got a 2.5 stainless rip setup and seems to work quite well low down and awesome top end

Is it possible to fit a 19t compressor wheel to a conical turbo housing
I don't break gearboxes. Just engine mounts.............

any td04 cartridge will fit any td04 exhaust housing, not sure how restrictive it would be though and you would also need a 19t CHRA or get yours machined as all compressor wheels other than the 19t are 56mm (19t is 58mm) so if you want a 19t to fit it needs to be bigger.

Okay then. Lets say that I get an 18t compressor wheel. Your saying that it will fit into the 15 g housing with no problems. Other then it will be more restrictive then the straight or angled housing.

if you get an 18t compressor, the wheel will fit in your CHRA (bearing housing) but you would need either an 18t compressor housing or your one machined as the wheel is bigger.

Will any other wheel fit within the conical housing other then the 15 g.

Im just thinking of future mods. Already have a decat downpipe. So im not looking to change that

I think im not explaining it properly, you have 3 main parts to the turbo, the cold side (compressor) the CHRA which is the middle part with all the bearings, oil and coolant feeds. then the exhaust housing, any of the exhaust housing will fit so you can use a conical exhaust and down pipe just may not be as effective. you and a band clamp that holds the CHRA to the exhaust housing, you can undo this on the car so you dont even need to touch the exhaust bolts, remove the CHRA with the compressor side still attached, you can then fit a 18t and cold side (compressor) housing (if you can find one) and fit, bearing in mind you would need to get a superback rebuild kit as any turbo with a T after it is a superback not a flatback like the 15g. Also recommend getting it balanced
