Not sure about the idea of using the fogs as DRLs though. But that's a personal nit-pick harking back to the days before DRLs became an actual thing, when chavvy dick heads used to drive everywhere with their fogs on.
Have you not seen the late shape V50's or V70's? The DRL's are in the same location as my Fogs and these don't look too dissimilar.

Too be fair, the pictures don't do them justice and you'd be better off seeing them in the flesh, but I take your point. these could very easily be mistaken for DRL's as they are not like HID's.

I also, don't drive around with my Full beams on by mistake, so you'll be ok mate - your retinas will be safe!

I bought these at Easter when they ran a 50% off deal and this is the first time I've had a chance to install them.

    3rd Generation CREE chip H3 link: http://www.horizonleds.co.uk/cree-le...-led-headlight

    3rd Generation CREE chip H7 link: http://www.horizonleds.co.uk/cree-le...-led-headlight

They are currently running a 20% discount and free shipping over £75, so a £41 saving on full price if you buy both kits.

I must also apologise as in post#417 I said these were 5th gen units. They are 3rd generation units as they were the only LED kits that don't use fans to cool the chips. These bulbs use flexible heat sink, which means less risk of clearance issues. Also, 3rd gen chips are 2500 lumens.
If I start to notice any condensation issues due to cutting holes in the caps on the rear of my lights, then I will be able to poke the heatsink inside and buy new caps.

The later 5th gen chips are 4000 lumens!! Impressive! However, they use fans to cool the chips and you may have clearance issues when fitting the light units back on the car and they don't currently make them in H3, so I would not be able to fit them in the front fogs....however, no clearance issues here, so may consider for the future?

Wink Afternoon drive to Rye, Hythe, Chips on the beach and home.

Had a blast yesterday after I washed the car. Met up with a good mate and his friends and went for a run to the coast.

Probably a Ferrita 3" from Don.
Will then get Fast road conversions to fit and remake the exhaust tips larger at the same time
I think they are currently 75mm each at the tip. May go to 90mm each but keep the stock look.

Get custom 3" downpipe/decat much cheaper. I think I paid about £260 for custom one.

I also need to get Fast Road to change my tip. I don't like the single tip and where i got it down the bend isn't very good. Also I got Fast Road to install a silencer (failed MOT for being to loud haha) at the front which keeps scraping, need to get them to move it to the back.

    I also need to do 3, 4, 7 and 11

Now why would I want a decat?
I'll be going for sport cat and I want guaranteed reliability.

Ferrita makes great products. I'm very happy with my downpipe and catback. Keep in mind that Ferrita uses a 100 cell cat

    Major set back....

ANTI SKID service warning last week accompanied by warning light yellow triangle, 7 DTC's, No TRACS, No DSTC, No AWD.

Long story short, after I plugged in VIDA/DICE, I feared the worse

Volvo rang me to confirm DEM failure caused by water ingress. I knew it wasn't going to be the DEM pump, as that was replaced last summer.

All parts including, DEM module, Pressure switch, Temp sensor, Haldex filter, Haldex oil and software have been ordered.
