CD player wiring

Erm just pulled CD player out ready to put mine in can any one tell me were I even start on this to but in my double din and does the plods still have amp and were is it based

If it's got the amp, it'll be under the drivers seat but I doubt it.

you should have 2 white,green,grey,purple those are speaker wires you should have 1 red,yelowand black wire those you should know then you will have 1 ornage wire which is for auto dimming when you turn your interrior lights down if the radio supports the function it will dim also. then you should have 1 blue wire for power antenna/remote wire for your amplifier

Haha I'm not much help but that's what mine looked like. The plod must have chopped the speaker loom off mine but left one speaker working. Best thing to do is Google the wiring diagrams for both stereo and Volvo loom
