Hi to all, new to forum so hello. ive got an 850 t5 estate and i have just brought a spoiler but it didnt have any fixing brackets, could anybody tell me where i can get some and how much. But if they are too expensive or like rocking horse ££££ then has anybody got the dimensions and i will make some of my own. many thanks.
p.s estates should not behave like this but iam glad the t5 does!!!!!!

Go to the main dealers, its not as daft a comment as you might think, the kits readily available and when I bought mine I think I only paid about £12. I wouldnt even attempt to make my own because the brackets are very fiddly, due to them fitting onto the tailgate hinges.

Why would you bother to bond it on when you can get the proper fitting kit for just over a tenner??, doesnt make sense to me

im lucky cos i dont need to buy new ones for my spoiler,
i know they are quite expensive for a silly bracket,
i was a bit wearry cos iv just cut my
    brackets in half,
added a couple of inches & refitted them,
now my spoiler acts like a spoiler instead of a rear screen cleaner,
looks really good,as all 855s have normal spoiler,

if u grab the spoiler and give it a tug the brackets are feeble, as i work in a vehicle bodyshop most aftermarket bodykits are bonded on and they stay on no movment shut the boot on estate and watch the spoiler (wibble would be a good description) so i bonded it on along with the origonal brackets no more wibble. not too much sealent just enough without splurting from under mounting surface
