For 1 that's not the final figure more a starting point. I think you can easily spend more or less depending & I object to the idea that I have been careless.

At present the only real option I see would be Shark Performance. I haven't used them myself, but I have spoken to them, and there are super knowledgeable when it comes to remapping Volvos. Ashok has spent a lot of time with them I think, and he is no chump! If he says they are good (and better than what he has had from MTE in the past), then that's a good enough recommendation for me!

It's where I'd go, if I had an ME7 that needed custom mapping. Setting up the hardware side of things, I would go to the holy messiah

    1. I didn't quote you.
    2. If you did spend 7k and ended up with 340bhp you wouldn't have a leg to stand on in argument over whether you §§§§ed your money up the wall.

Course not, there are plenty of tuners out there. But if it was someone who specifically knew these cars/engines/ecu's inside out, that's obviously a huge advantage in getting the best from it.

That power figuire is only a start mate the car would have over 500bhp if the car was fully custom mapped as sorted but don't get me wrong the car is quick now

Well I am not going to start bad mouthing HLM or Hamish - without him I couldn't have got the hardware in.

The fueling is OK - I have only just sorted the MAF saturation issue. I am building this up slowly & I know I am a bit off the pace. It is a little frustrating at times but I will get there.

Still toying with replacing the missing 1/4 inch from my cat back & decatting it.

I agree about the ecu, but althought the rest is an advantage, it wouldn't stop me from going to a non volvo person.

A full 3" system will help if your getting closer to the limits of what is achievable with that turbo, but it's not entirely necessary if 400bhp (ish) is your goal. But if you do sell, 1st dibs on your Miltek LOL!

I can't see that decatting would benefit you at all (assume you've got a ferrita?).

On the Hamish thing... I'm not bad mouthing, having a bash, or whatever. Not my intention at all to drag that up, I wasn't the first to mention him. But if you want my honest opinion (which you probably don't!), I don't think you will achieve what you want unless you go elsewhere.
