    running issues

    Hi all

    I have problems........with the black 850, lol

It was running fine on Friday, filled her up with tescos best and put a detox/cleaner in it.
On the way to Brooklands yesterday,I noticed it was starting to cough a bit at 3500 rpm
this got gradually worse,to a point where I had to pull over and check something hadn't come off.
    Didnt find anything.

Limped on to Brooklands and we only just got there at which point the lambda light had come on.
When we went to leave it wouldnt start and when it finally did,it was really rough.
I couldn't really touch the throttle as it would cough and splutter really badly, hence to say the drive
    home was not much fun.

    So today I have changed:

    fuel filter
    all 5 injectors
    fuel rail
    fuel reg
    IDC
    MAF
    Lambda sensor
    ECU

    all with no joy

    any ideas anyone?
    what have I missed?

    cheers
    JT

Think I'd get the codes read, then if that doesnt bring up anything I'd drain the tank and try some fresh stuff. You didn't put too much cleaner in it did you?, sounds coincidental that it started playing up shortly after you filled up. What colour was the sparks plugs and the lambda when you pulled them?..

well when it starts, it will tick over like normal,so I think they are all ok,
its only when I touch the throttle it seems to choke itself and the point of the Lambda light is up,makes me think Neal could well be right

I did check all the leads etc were where they should be,but I havent replaced any..........yet

Before I changed my plugs, leads etc. mine would start fine and run fine when cold, but once warmed up if put under any load would misfire badly, although it would run fine on part throttle. As has been said above though it could be the cat.
