Ok as well as having a slipping clutch in the R my V40 has just started too!!! Really cant ever seem to get on my feet with cars. Ive fitted genuine parts to this car since ive had it but Its just my work horse, do you think I should fit a none genuine clutch to it? I need to sort the V40 ASAP as its my daily and if it breaks I really dont want to have to spend over 100 a week on fuel running the R.

Volvo dont make anything bud, the clutch will be made by LUK or Sachs.

Just buy one of those brands and it will be exactly the same unit as the one which comes out

I'm going to have to do mine this year still it's done 154500, probably need a Dms too, question is to focus RS clutch or will the clutch off an s60 r fit?

You should be able to get the clutch from ebay (LUK) for a bot 120, slave (LUK) for about 85 and the dmf for less than 400 (also LUK) not cheap but will last for ages.
