HELP! the flying banana has immobilised itself!!!!

Whilst trying to get the remote central locking working, I noticed that the relay wasn't plugged in correct. So I plugged it in and hey presto the alarm goes off, indicators flash as do the interior lights and now the bloody thing won't start!!!!
Tried to §§§§§§ about with the relay and reprogram the remote but nothing is working.
So at the minute I've got a very expensive garden ornament...
Any ideas??
Or do I just set fire to it.

Sorry to hear the above. Have you got more than one remote, and tried the other if you have?

Have you reemoved the relay and tryed it if it returns to how it was try a new relay

I've no spare remote, tried removing the relay, I get full ignition lights but no starter. Just need to find a replacement relay

It's great to see the VPCUK Wigan branch helping each other. If TC can't help you, and you want to eliminate the relay as the problem, then I could nip over and swap them around.

I've just had a very quick look and couldn't see it, however that means nothing as my garage is a mess at the minute, gonna go have a proper look now (couldn't before as I was still in my P.J's,lol)..Just a thought though, have you tried re programming the fob to the car?. Maybe because it wasn't plugged in properly before it wasn't actualy programmed to it. Turn the key to ignition lights and back off again fairly quickly until the alarm LED starts to flash then press the button on the fob. I'm gonna get dressed (Yeah I know it's after dinner but this is the first time I've managed to sleep past 5am all week) and go have a proper look around the garage, lemme know how you get on.
