I have often thought about it but the cost involved would be great and I just cannot justify chopping my 850 up also without major engine bay mods the the 5 pot engine would be a very tight fit the one that has been done over seas is running the 4 pot 16v engine which is like rocking horse poo to get hold off, but if you want to sponsor me ill get cracked on with it.

don't care where you come Mate, just want to see your car out there, obviously there will be some teething troubles but you'll be right up there I'm sure. Not sure how much further I can push the 15g thought, whats the fastest time anyone has got with a 15g

Modifying my car so far has got me around a second off the factory time of an 850r it's all about improving my time with a Volvo, I could buy an m3 if I wanted but what's the point? I wouldn't feel part of anything at meets

Good point, hence why I go to Bm meets not Volvo ones anymore lol. Have you thought about doing something different to all the others and making it r.w.d as I'm sure that would get all your power down better and improve your times?

Could just buy a 940 Turbo if that's what I wanted, most of us have t5.s so that is where the competition is, it's good to be the same as everyone else so it's more pleasing when you do win

I want to take mine this year but my I can't justify spending money on my clutch that's on it's way out till after my wedding in September. The clutch showed signs of weakness on both track days in 2011 and 2012 and recently against an insignia Vxr at the lights left me revving and going nowhere after a good 1st gear power launch fine driving normally but with 154k and silly torque and from previous expireience would make for emabarrising 1/4 mile times and a bill I could do without :-(
