    help please

    Hi I've got a s60 2.0t s I'm wanting a dump valve but some people say no some say yes can people reply and let me know what's best and what's not

    No - ME7 engine management measures the amount of air in the system at any given time. Any loss to atmosphere will make it think there's a big problem, throw a code, go into limp mode and generally not work very well.

    Get a big cone filter and take the insulation off the bonnet for some nice wooshy noises

    No, I had the recirc locked - off. Worked the same way as the blanking plate.

    This is with the recirc working...

    19t, greens, 3" inlet, 3" downpipe with race cat, V70R catback, autotech map...

    With a cone filter and no soundproofing on the bonnet - yes

    The first video sounds nice mate what filter you got on like plus what's the recirc and how do you lock it

    I just had a cheap twin cone filter from fleabay at the time.

    There's a 4mm pipe that goes from the inlet manifold to the recirculating valve on the turbo (triangular fitting with a circular bulge and mounted to the turbo with 3 10mm bolts) put a one way valve in that pipe to allow pressure but not vacuum. this will lock the recirc valve, giving the chatter noise you heard.
