Polished the ATR!

Got some time after work to give the ATR a coat of Auto Glym.

The paintwork is in amazing condition for 11 years old. Look forward to giving it a proper detail when I get chance.

I generally use it for driving to places??!! LOL!

Mainly use it for the enjoyment of driving it really!! Got a 59 plate Zafira as the 'family' car, so the ATR and S60 are just for fun really.

I swap weekly between the Accord and the S60 for commuting to work. I'm hoping to do more track days in it. It was a toss up between the 2 cars as to which one was gonna go to The Ring with me in a couple of weeks, but the S60 won!

Yeah it's pretty much the last of them. Only done 69k! It's on MeisterR coilovers! Handling is superb!

I think the nice one's will one day, but I think that'll go for all the 'Type R' cars. In years to come they'll be a thing of the past I'm sure.

They've definitely bottomed out now, but most of the ones you'll find these days are high milers and rust buckets. I did pay a premium to get my hands on this one, but it was worth every penny, and I doubt i'll ever lose money on it.

Brilliant the stance is superb, just right! Handling wise I can imagine, if I remember correctly the standard LSD works well and engine is phenominal. I know they just drop outside of VTEC on the gear change but it makes it more fun that in a few hundred RPM it's coming alive again. For me this is the best UK type R just because it's so understated but at the same time so equalily brilliant. Best seats and steering wheel fitted to any of the UK type R's as well. It looks like a good car and I think you should keep that for a long time to come.

Two of my mates used to be big Honda freaks.....the one had the civic type R and the other had a red accord identical to this. I don't think there ever was a winner in the arguement as to which was best, though I think the accord just pipped it. Fed up of hearing Ayrton Senna dropped in the conversation though, did he actually have anything/much to do with its development??

I had one that had done over 150k back in 2006. Good cars but agreed on the thirst. Lol
I paid peanuts for it & sold it for peanuts as it was rough but apparently its still going.
Yours certainly looks a keeper. Lovely.
