Hard work undone!

A whole day cleaning, clay bar x2, polish x2, etc etc
Paintwork was glass smooth.
Now at Centre Parcs and parked under pine trees for a week!
Forgot to buy car cover on the way up.
Damn.

§§§§ thats not good all that sticky sap, take a couple of sheets and cover the car, do the roof at least.Peter

If the car was properly sealed then it shouldn't be too hard to remove the sap. Did you use a sealant before applying the LSP?

Used autoglym super resin polish then 'extra gloss protection'.

I've no real experience in detailing. This was my first attempt with a clay bar and I've never applied anything after a polish coat in the past. I'd be open to suggestions and advice as to what to use in the future. Really enjoyed myself and was pleased with the results. Hope to take some pics after I clean the inevitable sap off.

Did pick the best spot I could find but we are in the middle of a bloody forest.
Spotted a flash green s60r in the car park... Better spot for him... Must have got here earlier.

At least it has some sort of protection on the paintwork, got to be better than just washed.

A/G EGP should seal the paint. Nothing wrong with it.

There are AIO (all in one) solutions that can include an element of hydrophobic protection too (carnuba wax).

Have a look at the sealants on CYC and Polished Bliss

I've used a few in the past including CG Wet mirror finish, black light & factory sealant.
