Out for a picture shoot with a friend and my brother

Over the last few weeks both cars had been washed, clayed, polished and waxed. Think it's paid off as both have paintowork like glass to the touch and wet like appearances to look at...

Found a nice underpass to take some shots and this is a selection of what came out... and I managed to remember my camera this time too

The Orion is a friends car that he's had for a few years now, it started off standard and now sports a CVH EFi turbo engine, coil overs and natuarlly upgraded brakes, it goes and stops rather well

Just wish I had mine on the road as I'd be all over the detailing it and taking pictures at the mo... lol

Not quite, it's an Orion 1.6 Injection Ghia a late mk2 model EFi from the factory.

It does have the leather interior from a 1600E so I can see why you would think it was one but they only came from the factory in 3 exterior colours Diamond White, Raven Black or Mercury Grey.

Spec wise it's a standard 1.6 CVH turbo engine from a Fiesta RS turbo running OFAM megasquirt management (mapped solely by the owner), 440cc injectors, stage 3 .48/55 T3 turbo with Garrett -31 actuator, peaks 1.4 bar holding 1.1, Scorpion full stainless system, Airtec single pass full front mount intercooler, Airtec radiator and turbo cooler. Orion gearbox with Escort turbo LSD, AVO coilovers on the front with Koni adjustables on the rear. 300 mm front brakes from an St170 with Mondeo V6 calipers and EBC yellow stuff pads. Needless to say it goes extremely well indeed!

Thanks Greg, it's a 10 year old Kodak camera which is in desperate need of replacement.. lol But to give it it's due it puts out a half decent shot for a 5mp camera
