given up before ive even started

plan was to completely detail my olive green t5, by the time i had washed it off clayed and compounded the bonnet ive given up.
theres so many deep scratches and stone chips, and when i checked the rest of the car its a right mess so full repaint here we come.

im a bit §§§§ed as i went out and topped up all my supplys this morning which cost an arm and a leg but i should have checked first. got my MBc fitted though and it goes like a scalled cat so thats one thing i supose.

gonna try to get my base coat ordered in the next week or two, then drag it in to work and it will be a case of de-rust little bits on the top of the boot where it meets the roof, fill all the little dents and DA the rest of the car down to get all the stone chips and scratches.

ill get the pannel beater at work to strip it down to its bare bones and let the fun commence.

if i can get my dad to lend me his camera ill do a full start to finish how-to on a repaint.

Fair enough. I must have had mine painted in parts many times over.

This was why I repainted the bonnet on my old R, there where that many stone chips and other little faults it made more sense to just repaint it than to spend a week filling them all in.
