    Brakes, brakes, brakes

Right, with my T5R going back on the road this month, I need some new brakes.

I have the 302mm conversion up front, and the regulars (whatever size they are) at the back. I'm going to replace discs and pads all round, but i'm not sure what discs to get? Obviously the 302s were not originally on the 850, so if I got 850 discs, they'd be wrong!

If anyone knows somewhere online I can order all the discs and pads from, that'd be great!

    Cheers
    Pete

On PartsForVolvos, the only 302mm discs I can find are these:

    http://www.partsforvolvosonline.com/...oducts_id=2750

I tried GSF Car Parts, but when I put in my car details it only gives me 280mm options. What car should these 302s be on for me to look for them that way?

This is too confusing, and I've not even tried to fit them yet... lol

Give Jamie a call at PFV (Parts For Volvo) so long as you have your reg, he'll talk you through your options.

Well, a quick message to Jamie at PartsforVolvos and it's sorted.

Just ordered new discs and pads for front and rear. Next weekend I might get my hands dirty and try and fit them!

I've got a Haynes manual, but I may well be back on here for advice! haha

Well, got them all fitted! Couldn't have done it without the help from Emlyn.

Still plenty of work to do; car is very smokey and there seems to be an air leak from somewhere. We replaced the RIP kit and the hissing has persisted.

Car could do with a good clean and some TLC, but all in good time.

    Pictures later...
