i was tbh one of the 1st, along with Bigrotch that i know of to find a direct fit FPR thats made by bosch.
You will get better mpg if driven easy and flames wen not lol. But i wont be held responsible if it bore washes your engine. It hasnt and didnt his or mine and mine run for around a year with no adverse effects. But could be summit to bare in mind.

Do you have to change injectors for the change in pressure.
Wats the bosch part number

This is the one I'm running and it's a direct fit on my 95. I swapped to this early on with stock ECM and pretty much stock everything. Once you start to modify your engine and you are needing more fuel the ECM can run the injectors "ON" time or dwell shorter and spray in the same amount of fuel. Never had a problem in the sub zero winter starting or hot starting in summer. The computer "learns" and just fires the injectors for a shorter period of time.
I'm using one off a: 1988 Dodge Daytona 2.2L FI Turbo 4cyl 55psi or 3.8bar

You can never have too big a turbo !! 95, 855, auto, R manifold, 19T, OBX, 960 TB, Blues
Does anyone know if this will fit? It's a 3.8 bar reg for a Vauxhall vectra,

Think that's the US bosch number Kiss4afrog? Can't find the UK alternative?
The one in the ebay link isn't going to fit an 850.
Bosch is German and I thought their part number would be the same no matter where you're trying to find it.
They do have them at Summitracing, ebay and amazon.

I use one off a 1.6 ford focus, you just need to cut off a small bracket.

Has anyone ever experimented with crushing the fpr.
I sure that I heard that increases the pressure.

doubt this is of any help to anyone but I noticed today when servicing an e46 BMW that they run a fuel filter with built in return and regulator that is set at 3.5 bar, would be an easy fit if you did away with the volvo fuel filter and mounted the BM one towards the front of the car.

Okay. After merc mentioned bore wash. Has kinda put me off the 3.8 bar fpr. But would like to maybe raise to 3.4 bar. Any ideas.
Wat damage can bore wash cause.

if it get's as bad as mine, it will scrap the engine, what exactly do you think you will acheive with higher fuel pressure?

Have you tried just unplugging the vacuum pipe. My understanding is that the vacuum just lowers the fuel pressure when the throttle is closed to prevent it running momentarily rich when you lift off.
