    Wheel Porn

......so the king, sorry god, of all Volvo alloys, have been refurbed (bloody expensive one too!) in a beautiful silver on black....resulting a wheel that has soooooo much depth and curiosity to it that I don't want to put them on a car, might just put them on the wall

I had them fully checked for cracks, buckles, flat spots etc....luckily all 5 were ok and any minor inaccuracies sorted. The rims have been cut for a consistent edge too.

To say I'm happy with them would be an understatement, when I get them all out of the boxes I will take some more, but for now here's one....

Hope you've got your kleerex to hand

Now all you need is a nice turbo 900 series to stick them on

    Want!!!

Are these for a 7/9 series or for an 850/V70? I know someone local with an 850 tdi with Polaris on - they're a suprisingly good fit with just lipped arches.

    Current: 1990 Volvo 760 GLE D24TIC ZF22 - 16psi, more fuel, Monark 293 nozzles, 40mm lower, Bilstein TCs, 22/19 ARBs, H&R DRM spacers, 17" Titans. Running Veg oil/petrol mix.

Sorry for mega delayed response, not been on here for a few days!

The wheels are RWD offset ET20, so they stick out a lot further than the FWD wheels (ET43?), hence the 850 had its inner arches rolled and the liners trimmed. Funny thing is there were no problems with arch rub on the insides, so I think ET20 + rolled arches should be standard!!

They were optional extras for 7/900 Volvo's as for best place to look I would recommend every where, they are very very rare I think last set I saw was in Europe and they sold for over 1k

You can get elkers from Norway but they are not cheap and they are also half an inch wider too than Polaris .
