Yep wobbly or if all else fails either the meg dual action the new one or i was looking at a kestral on (think its called that) i just need to get either shapbomb or ian to buy one so i can use it
the megs one ( the newer one ) sort of inherited it, seem ok to me, but I no expert in this field, but I do know its pretty much idiot proof and won't go as far as damaging your paint as far as I can see

I've got the Aldi one. Exactly the same as the Halfrauds one. It does the job well enough for me but prolonged use will make your hands tingle

I got the "clean you car" DAS 6 Pro one with the nice long power lead.
i bought a halfords one, it was advertised in the shop at 50 quid but online for some reason 30 so i got them to knock 20 quid off lol
Would like one that doesn't have to be plugged into the mains if i could.

for rotery ive got a dodo juice which is nice and light (nice for the finishing stages and a 3M for work, but if you want DA defanatly get the meguiars mate
ok, i have been using my Halfords machine polisher all day, a word of advice dont its crap, these big ones are useless, they stop spinning with any kind of effort even even just holding it gently on the paint it hardly spins, get a small proffesional one mate
would our Halford machine say dual action on it, then it would not spin as this type are design not to leave swirl marks, thus its osilates backwards and forwards with a slow rotation as not to damage you paint and leave swirls, rotary machines are a whole different ball game, just ask wobbly he'll tell you all about them, these are design to heat up the paint in the process of polishing, if you don't know what you are doing with a rotary there is a risk of damaging your paint. Personally I'd go with the meguire's dual action polisher, it's got variable speed to allow for application, cutting, polishing and buffing, a decent length of flex and a quality tool.

Just brought one from lidl,
Made by Goodyear (tyre people) ? lol. Used it very impressed would have been better with a decent polish rather than the cheap stuff ive got atm, lead could have been longer tho :/ £24.95
When I started many moons ago the Porter Cable was the only option as a DA polisher. 110v - imported from the Septics - PITA. But it worked. Thankfully the options are wider now. These days I use a rotary because the results are faster, though the risks are higher. I believe the megs DA is a good one to start with - though I've never used a CE rated DA.
My favourite pads are Lake country CCS & CG hexlogic & I tend to use Menzerna polishes.
If you want me to show you how to get on then let me know. You will also need 3m tape & a strong torch to help with the process.
