Exclamation Think the 15g has run out of puff !!!

My poor little 15g has probably given its best 2 sundays ago at Avon when it helped the T5-R to our all time best of 14.52 for the 1/4. With York looming and a few other mods and tweeks to do, I thought a turbo change could be on the cards. So I thought I just ask what currently, forum meembers might have avialiable and what sort of price there looking for ? Thinking that 16 or 18 T would be tops as I worry a 19T could damage it and I don't want to go too mad at this stage, if you see what I mean.

A 16T or 18T are both capable of breaking it if you're not careful. Congrats on the time!
    Grey 855R Manual. Totally standard.

Looks like there's 2 possible moves forward, the first would be to improve the induction with a R.I.P and 3" TB and fit the Jap exhaust, ported to give better flow and second improve the mixture a bit, buy dumping the orange injectors and popping some blues in, which I probably should do any way, as with the map it's probably a bit lean top end to be fair.

What about an 18t chaps ? good idea. Pete liked munsters 16t so what difference would a 18t give ?

Could still steal the 19t off of Jayneybabes V70R ( she might notice the bonnet up for a while though and get excited that I'm fixing her broken gearbox )

What do you all think should be the next moves ?

But if the cost is not the ruling factor, which would you run ?

You won't go any quicker on the quarter mile with a 16t or 18t mate you don't get to get to top end power on the strip, my s70r last time at Avon got a 14.5 with a 19t

19t's have a stiffer actuator on than the rest of the range so stock boost via the BCS will be higher. Can't remember what boost Paul was running, but it was MBC'd

Well I made 298bhp on a standard map with a 19t and mbc so it's possible in an 850 to get a 13.9, my best time was done with a passenger in at Santa pod
