    Tyre valve caps

Went to buy some air in the tyres to find the front ones have metal BBS caps that I can't get off with my fingers.

I have a tool that fits over them but I am worried about snapping of the valve. Do they just unscrew?

Sure there not the anti-theft ones.... i.e. if they just spin and spin they probably are and you'll need a small alen key on the stem of the valve which will stop them spinning and allow you to turn them.

They don't spin at all. When I turn them the whole valve seems to turn with them. That is why I don't want to force them. Weird things is they are only on the front.

Metal ones with metal valves can get hot and not allow the caps to come off, i used to have some metal ones and there were a pain in the bum.

User pliers or a small spanner depending on the shape of them
