what silencer should i remove??

of all the people my missus has told me to do "something" with the exhaust lol she said it needs a little more "grunt" lmao anyways seeing as shes given permission to spend money on the car it would be rude not to,im currently running a RAY cat back with decat downpipe now my questions is which one of the silencers should i have removed,the middle one or the back one??

yeah but its not an origanal exhaust its a ray catback and they come with two small silencers one in the middle and one at the back!!

Just remember lads that up until about a month ago running without a cat was fine for MOT providing the vehicle still passed emissions but now you will get a failure if it is missing regardless of the emissions outcome.

R`s only have 1 lambda so light is not an issue.My previous car had a small middle box no back silencer and had a nice growl.

850s only have the 1 lambda, from late 1997 on the s/v/c70s have two.

for your exhaust i'd say take the back one off, a straight pipe will go in in its place no issue and its bigger than that middle box

my v70r only ran a little box at the back, sounded immense on boost

I ran one of my old cars with the suitase chopped out, sounded great around town but on motorways it was a bit much.
