Yet Again the C70 has me Pulling Hair Out

As per the title i'm loosing faith with this car, but I will not let it beat me
I had all the intention of finally sorting out my lowering springs today but on the way to my mates garage a nice little whinning noise started from the front. so I slowed down and gently continued to destination where we jacked up the drivers side to find my wheel bearing was pretty much shot.
One quick phone call to a local stockist and £57 later a new bearing unit turned up. Lots of swear words and broken nuts and bolts later and some serious energy drink downing we finally got the offending units changed. Then came the drive home which started off great until I started hearing a clunking noise. So i pulled over just to check my wheel nuts which where ok and as I was no where near the garage I decided to slowly get home. then when braking that lovely pedal bounce and grinding noise started again. which I know is the abs ring I didn't fit months ago.
Once home I checked to see if I hadn't tightened a bolt or something to find them all good and the bottom ball joint §§§§§§ed.
gotta try get a new wishbone in morning now so forgive me for this

I know how this feels! You get one problem sorted out and then you spot 6 dozen other things that are knackered, so you fix them and then something else goes wrong. Very annoying and something I can totally relate to!

My n/s/f (I think) wheel bearing's been whining since I bought it last July, but there's no play in the wheel, which is why I said I think it's n/s/f. It's something I'l do at some point, but Not urgent as far as I'm concerned (famous last words lol). How difficult was yours to replace?

    Bummer mate.
Sometimes you can't spot/replace/fix something before it lets - go. Ball joints and bearings are one of those things

Its not that hard a job to do just gotta watch the 4 bolts that hold the bearing unit into the hub dont snap. I heated mine a little before i even attempted to loosen them. apart from that was straight forward. no pressing in bearing needed as its a complete unit

Hard luck mate, just when you thought you'd cracked it, there's always something else ready to surprise you. Hope you get sorted in the morning without too much of a ball ache !

there is a 15mm bolt in the centre opening of the bearing that goes into the end of the shaft mate, take it out and the shaft should put gently out
