Well the mapped ecu turn up today, nerviously i put it in and turned her over....... Yep she started and stayed runing proving the issue was ecu related looks like the old hlm auto map had bitten the dust.
Took her for a drive on her new HLM manual map which i got from a VOC member, The boost was abit all over the place to start with then it calmed down and is settling in nicly.
I think i prefer the Auto map tbh, it boots higher in the last 2 gear's but in so where near as agresive as this one. But with this it seems you have to rev the car to make the power which comes in at 4,200 rpm? which tbh seems a little late but by god when it does come in its like a BIG kick up the ass!
and revs all the way round. perhaps i just used to the smooth action of the auto map with the high boost up top dunno, im driving her to london tomorrow as my boy has his apointment at Great Ormond St, so it will give both the car and the BCS/map time to settle in.
But rest assured she will be going for a custom map very soon, in short a Good map if you like thrashing about everywhere lol perhaps im getting old.
