    Damn annoying squeal

Well car back, and car has an annoying squeal, coming from the timing belt area, trying to trace the squeal I can't find it :-( I caught the timing belt cover on timing belt with engine running, by leaning on the cover listening down at the serpentine belt, I think I am going to start smoking again

I get a squeak from my auxilary belt area on a cold engine. Once I've given the thing some road time and the engine is warm then the sqeaking stops, perhaps this is what you have on your car too?

The noise looks to be in time with the belt rotations.

I think you have a 1950's flying saucer trapped in there! Would've agreed with merc from your description but after hearing it I have no idea.

tbh it sounds like a waterpump, but it is hard to diagnose over the internet

Take the aux belt off it it still makes the noise id say waterpump
