Be interesting to see the progress of this. BTW in the pick of your car on the trailer, you've hidden the Navarra's registration, but left it visible on the trailer lol, and the saffy's reg is shown in reflection on one of your other pics.

Such as life, the full plate isn't on display for the saffy and the trailer plate well, it is what it is.. Well spotted, not that I think the guy with the Navara will be bothered lol

Too kind dear Emlyn too kind! Yes been a long time coming but getting there, I see your back in the fold again with another red R, albeit an estate this time. Looks really familar that reg it doesn't happen to be a manual wit black interior does it? P... DAB? Used to belong to a guy called Simon?

Should be interesting, went well with the 1.1 bar in 1st and 2nd before. Be interesting to see what it feels like when it's done although I fear it maybe at the expense of traction... Althought would be good to see how it handles 1.3-1.4 in 2nd

Realising I missed not driving the car, theres a reason so many people sell up move on and come back, I just never got round to selling up before I came back. Itching and I mean itching to get it back now, it's been far too long....

Maybe only go for a bit more in first, 1.2, but go for 1.3-1.4 in second.

Traction shouldn't be an issue for an auto on the 1/4mile, but you never know ;-)

Perhaps, tbh it accelerated that quickly once on the move that it touched the rev limiter in 1st on occassion where it caught the box out and that was with 1.1 bar, not sure anymore in 1st would be a positive gain or a waste of Yokohamas! lol that said the limiter could be raised slightly.

U should`ve seen Gavs face trying to kerep up when u kicked off form that roundabout I thought for a minute he`s gonna push me out of the car to loose some weight lol

LOL.......yeah, not the best traction control sytem on the old volvos is it!
It is nice to have a proper traction control system in the bmw.......which is good, as in the wet it REALLY needs it ;-)

I know what you mean, have driven both manual and auto versions of your car and I have to say the car feels a lot more suited to the auto box but you only need to breathe on the pedal and the low down torque sheads a mm from the rear tyres.... lol Nice spec on them though, does yours have the phone, tv and electronic adjustable steering wheel?
