    Possible addiction help required!

As most of you know i have just had a HLM chip tune on my ME7 C70 auto with a result of 243 whp and 277lbft of torque,
My question is this where can i go next with mods without opening up the engine and gearbox?.. I have an ipd induction kit with heat shield and cold air feed (in the shed) courtesy of Wobblydave but i am not sure there is any performance benefit with it....i think the bug has bitten me in the §§§§!

    Tony.

To be honest mate, if you're going to be after much more power, you're going to have to get the engine forged, or risk bendind a rod.

My C70 is me7, and I would like to have her mapped at some stage. Mine is manual, but would you recommend the map that you've had done? I have a JR panel filter and that is the only engine mod at the mo.

19t, greens, 3" inlet, 3" downpipe with race cat, V70R catback, autotech map...

you can get to 350bhp without worrying about rods as long as your map is good.

My only mod prior to the map was a pipercross panel filter..i dont know if mine being auto would alter the map for a manual..but i can tell you this it pulls cleanly from tickover right the way through until the turbo runs out of puff i will try to get a sneaky vid of it running on a private road soon!

And a turbo back 3" exhaust with sports or decat doing all that u`ll need an extra tranny oil cooler.I`ve seen Shreks 850R auto taking off from essex meet and was very impressed.

Hamish did mention that my little turbo runs out of puff but i dont want to get involved with internals i have done that before with my prelude if i have got to go down that road i would rather buy a quicker car!

Really, thought 300bhp would be about the limit, more importantly what about the torque, as that's what's going to bend rods.

I think that's more for the gearbox than the engine.

So realistically what are my limits on a healthy low mileage engine and auto gearbox?
