    It was already badly bent (as was most the rear end parts) as they can't handle the turbo V8 torque, but we straightened it out best we could so we could at least get there.
    But it snapped after about half a mile or normal driving lol.

    Looking at it, we think (hope lol) the alloy torque arms are pretty strong actually. They're H-beam and pretty thick.

    We reckon the reason they bent/broke was because the subframe is stupidly weak and thin, it's like it was made of old bean cans, The subframe twisted so bad that it in turn twisted the torque arms, and blammo, they gone.

    With a stronger subframe (we have a replacement and are reinforcing the crap out of it) the alloy torque arms might be just fine.

    We will see....

    I'm going to get a spare subframe and rods for measurements then build a tubular frame version and adjustable rods too .i will do this when I go to fit my other axle .the subframe is very weak and most peeps strengthen them and build new ones .

    This is what we did regarding the rear subframe. MUCH stronger now!












    The car is now also for sale, but as I've not got the 75 posts needed to post it on this forum, I guess you guys will have to miss out
