    What and Where in Essex can i get a Remap for blacky??

    Hi Peeps,

    Ive been runing about in blacky over the wkend and she seems to be driving just fine, I need to get her remapped, I'm thinking of getting another HLM map for her as i was really pleased with there serivce last time,

    But on the off chance does anyone know if theres anywhere is essex/grays that i could take the car to to get a map to suit my current mods??

    Any suggestions much apreciated

    Did you go upto HLM or post your ecu to them last time? SW did the BSR Stage 2 map on laser.

    Why dont you try an mte one this time? Maybe not so harsh on the engine

    Yeah thinking about it,really would like a map to suit the mods i have this time, not worried about being harsh on the engine tbh.

    Laser was quick when floored, but I just couldn't take to the auto box, so probably didn't get the best out of her TBH. I think SW did the exhaust as well as it's part of the

    'map package'.

    I don't want to come across like a prat here I know if I was on my last legs with volvo I wouldn't be wasting my money on it, I would be driving it for a long time until im certain im sticking with the car.

    Anybody know where Graham got his mapped? Gave a lovely smooth curve.

    me7 v70's need downloading pre me7's are the same as 850's need re-chipping 257bhp iirc

    Get the map that jamest5r had on his car that was good .but getting that map off hlm can be tricky lol.

    Ive also emailed HLM stating the current mods, and asking for a price of a mapped ecu

    i asked amd a little while back,they told me they couldnt map my car i would need a piggy back ecu setup which was 500 plus vodka and tonic!!! im not sure if that includes the price of the map either.....for that money id sooner get a tt


    full respray..plenty of body mods..comets..ray cat back noise pipe..decat and wrapped downpipe..me7 exhaust manifold..3" throttle body with ported inlet manifold..blue injectors..adjustable fuel reg..reverse intercooler pipework..19t..open cone air filter..255 fuel pump..m-r-p short shift..boost gauge..unknown remap..adjustable suspension..lightweight crank pulley..n/a cams..stripped out interior..and a heavy right foot

    The sw map is near enough the same as a rica/hlm ive tried most of the off the shelf maps currently have a stage 2 mte map which is very good map
