v70R suspension

my 1998 v70R is in need of new front struts and strut top mounts, I have been offered a good set off an 850 t5 (standard), will these fit my R or will it change ride height ect?

The suspension on my R is also stock.

I'm sure the R's lower, hence part of the R package! Not sure by how much, sure someone will confirm

there's quite a few suspension kits out there, but it would appear that the cheaper options can be a tad harsh on the ride side, ok if your local council provides super smooth road surfaces in your area......lol......its Shropshire so thats probably a no then

the local council are paid to make pot holes round here, thats what it seems like anyway, I've noticed that if they can't create a pot hole they will put a speed mountain on it instead! Decided on ordering some new strut tops yesterday, should be here by wednesday, once they are fitted i can stop moaning about how noisy the 'clunk' is! Cheap doesnt seem to be an option for this one.
