    v70 ph1 2.0 t5 conversion

    I doubt i will do it but has anyone converted a v70 ph1 2.0 to a t5 ? I know most responses will be sell it and buy a t5 but with 257,000 on mine i doubt i will get that much and like the look of mine!

    Yeah but a phase 1 V70 t5 isn't exactly much to buy either and you can swap any cosmetic mods over.

    contact casual alien as he wants a 2.0 and his 850 t5 has only 94000 odd on the clock

    I was toying with the idea of buying a 2L 850 and sticking my T5 stuff on it because I couldn't find a nice 850 T5,...what put me off was insurance. You have to take into account that although you have effectively created a stock T5 it will always be seen as a heavily modified 2L and that will make it more to insure then a T5.
    Old Car: 855 T5 in Grey and rust (dead and gone, well, most of it !
    Missus' ride: Citroen C4 coupe 1.6 HDi,
    Modifications: Nowt.....yet !
    Daily driver: 855 R in Black,
    Currently nursing a blown head gasket, new engine on its way !
    Recent addition: Freshly imported Honda Stepwagon,
    Slowly turning into a camper van !

    Insurance isnt a problem im a old git in cornwall with full no claims lol.
