removing sun roof

I have a small bit of rust on the inside of my sun roof. I want to take out the sun roof and repair it. Any advice?

I presume it's the same as early volvos, (I.e 850s) if so it's headlining out undo the 8 10mm bolts holding in the rail cassette and then dropping it down, it's about 1hrs work, I did my 850 last week.

Is dropping the lining easy enough? Dont want to crease it.

It's pretty simple really just undo all the grab handle bolts, sunvisors and clips, I removed mine as I had it trimmed in black alcantara material. Just be mindful the sunroof cassette is quite heavy so you will need assistance.

You could probably dye it.
