    I have seen underpan braces, which look easy enough to DIY with some 1 inch box and a mig.... As they wernt cheap
    Can't ever beat the full cage ( if you can spare the space )

    No i spoke to the guy at Volvo they never made one for the 70 never mind i only wanted one to hold all my cleaning stuff in 1 place in the boot rather than all over the boot! lol

    i paid £250 for the 4 piece chassis kit which i didn't think was bad

    Its 4 ft longer, not wider

    Fits just above the spare wheel.

    But i have only got a little boot ;-( anything thicker than a 3.2 welding rod would cut my bootspace down by 40%

    Best bet, PM BlackBeast thats who i got mine from.

    Ill take a picture when i can so you can see, not sure what your boots like but its just above the spare wheel underneath the carpet.

    The rear strut fits in place where the 7 seat conversion goes so I would doubt if volvo put the extra holes in for the C70

    No but you can buy them for the 850 saloon's, they dont run 7 seats either, so must be a similar if not the same set up

    A 7 seat conversion for the C70? no strut brace needed as i have 5 kids!
