That's even wierder that I've just posted on the other thread 'comets' about flush fitting valves!!! WIERD!!!

They don't fit on all alloys, as they require a flat section to mount to. They are really good tbh, especially if you live in areas where the kids like to let your tires down! I found the 'security' type valves with aluminium dust caps just get stuck and become a pain in the ar*e. Was a little sceptical about these at first, but have proven to work really well.....cost £40 mind for a good set.

...they basically have a flush cap which you screw out, then screw in the 'valve', then blow em up as usual!

thats not a bad idea, luckily ive only had 2 of my cars stollen, I just nip them up with a spanner that i keep in the car now.....

Bon soir people! Almost finished with the oil burner resurrection....albeit slow with the snow and a b******* shoulder

Finished the V70R seat conversion and added a matching set of almost new R mats to compliment

Had another pair of Maxxi Victra 74S put on the front which keeps all 4 corners the same....rears are 6-7mm still, on my 3rd set of these now! I wish I had time to get around to sorting the paintwork on the rear arch, though have been treating it reguarly with rust remover and sealant until some paint work can happen. It will have to be for the next owner to fettle, or if it doesn't sell then I'll treat her to some fresh stuff in summer

Also taken some shots of the engine bay.....which kinda makes a change from the T5 lump!

Cheers Frankie, I'm going to start with auction and go from there mate, if it doesn't sell I'll re-think, might possibly keep it if the offers are too low as it's serviced and ready to go for good miles now

....kind of a difficult one to put a price on if you agree? It's worth what someone wants to pay, but I know how much fuel savings it could bring, it could benefit me to keep it, put the R on classic ins and just use this as a daily and save 2-3k a year in fuel. I'm kind of basing my reserve on these factors for the time being.

Now I've put the new interior in, the drive is that much better, more grip and feels better quality under the bum

...makes me think I'm stupid selling

Sweet, mine are hopefully going to end up on the 740. Lucky I had 5 though, just had mine fully checked over by an 'alloy' specialist, this guy really knows his stuff...
