Gunk ultra on a 19 year old block. ...

Took 2 hours of elbow grease but she's shining now. block was caked in an odd yellow crust which was a pain to shift. It still needs some work in the nooks and crannies but it got dark. A little tarnishing on the block that I still need to shift but overall I'm surprised it came up so well. Thumbs up for Gunk ultra.

I'm sure the odd yellow crust was a form of corrosion protection. Looking good though!!

Cheers yeah I thought that about the crust but it was very badly applied if that was the case, it's on some of the hoses and even splattered on the rip.

Ta yeah, it's either that or get the scuffmaster kit out on the interior. I'm thinking a bog brush will get in them quite nicely

Mine has a yellowish crust on the rocker cover, I attacked it with a scrubbing brush the other day and it started to flake off, so I'll have to clean it properly now.

BTW yours looks very nice now.

I have the yellow gunk on mine too. I think its some sort of laquer, but 15 years on, it looks a mess, its my project to fix it when it gets warmer!

Im sure bailey do one, they do one for most cars. The circular inset piece above the plug cover should have some detail to it as well
