    Blacky Fighting for life

    Well, started to strip her down tonight, De a/c and making room for the New intercooler to. Be nice to take the engine out good chance to clean the engine bay up.





    Lets just say i hope she starts after the change, cus it will be the end of Volvo ownership for me it it doesnt.

    Her new front R Bumper to be collected soon

    Im sure it'll be fine..make sure you connect the blue earth cable to the gearbox..it turns out that qas my dads starting problem solved!! The connector on the end had corroded and cone off!! I know its late info but we onky just sorted it lol


    full respray..plenty of body mods..comets..ray cat back noise pipe..decat and wrapped downpipe..me7 exhaust manifold..3" throttle body with ported inlet manifold..blue injectors..adjustable fuel reg..reverse intercooler pipework..19t..open cone air filter..255 fuel pump..m-r-p short shift..boost gauge..unknown remap..adjustable suspension..lightweight crank pulley..n/a cams..stripped out interior..and a heavy right foot

    Was removing the ac unit easy??? Is it just a matter of removing the unit, pipes etc etc. Anything to look out for .... gases , leaking fluids ?? Also didyou need to fit another aux belt of just kept the same one?? Some details would be greatful as i want to do this too

    Well, cracked on tonight getting ready to drop the engine, Disconnecting the loom away from the engine, here's a couple of pics.

    Here we go again!





    Also having a clean up around the engine bay along the way.

    Will have the auto's engine n box going in mate with the ported head, If shes starts she will stay and be very rapid. if not, i will be breaking it and going back to my roots.

    I understand mate,u`ve taken enough from volvos tbh but u had yr fun too and hope there is more fun yet to come.
