as both your cars are post ME7, the new ETM might need coding to the car

What tools will i need?

You need to remove the air pipe from the throttle. The etm is held on with 4 x 10 mm bolts. There's a gasket but you shouldn't need to replace it.

From what I've been told, you'll need to leave the ignition on for an hour or two once you've finished, which should prevent the need for a visit to a stealer.
