That's not to bad frankie, there are bits that need tidying, what you going to do with those holes? I can't understand people drilling holes in dashboards

You can get company's to fill them, but from my experience of dash repairers they can ££££ off, did you see the mess they have made of my p2 with bloody rattle cans? I'm not finished with it yet, and volvo know I'm kicking up a stink when I go down to get it serviced.
    Thanks

er as it stands at the min no... i want it to run spot on standard for as long as so stage 0, pcv and cambelt and just try and resist tuning it....
my only plans are to black all the grey, deal with the faded red, roof rails, exhaust trim, 17's (these or some others i've got) and lowered
after going from a played with t5 to a 1.8 v40 i just wanna enjoy this one, i've been out this avo in it and already noticed other drivers doin double takes which is part of what i love about driving older cars

Very nice mate, may see you out and about in it i wont be able to miss you in a red T5 lol

The paint looks like it needs some elbow grease but what old red car doesnt? bet it will come up mint after a good mop. I had a red lancia delta that was much more faded than yours and it looked ferrari red after a mop etc.

Think Id go for a one box straight through exhaust (like mine) for the epic noise, get it decated at the same time, 302mm brakes and as you say make sure everything is in good shape. I think it would look good with the T5 alloys left on maybe sprayed anthrachite then slam it over them would look pretty cool if you black the grey on the bumpers.

anyway as with all old cars it wants a few jobs doin so the questions....

the temp gauge only goes to half 4 then doesn't move? i thought thermostat but it didn't alter doin 70 on motorway so i guess sender???
how do the roof rail strips come off??
how to i get to boot struts??
the gear stick is quite floppy how do i firm it up??
and finally its not the obd2 by the gearstick so where is the obd port??
The roof rail trim just pops out with the aid of a screwdriver.
The tailgate struts are in the roof and to get at them you have to remove the plastic trim.
To firm the gear stick up either fit a short shift plate or change the bushes on the gear linkage
And as it`s obd1 it has a think in the left hand side of the engine bay that you get the codes from by a series of flashing lights.
